The question on everyone's lips yesterday at McLean Park - "Where is David?".  He isn't out there in the middle (as far as we know)
Could  he be the guy with the beard?
Aha! He's in the Harris stand...

Nope, it's a red herring
So I employed my agents, A and C, to get into the hunt. They aren't very experienced, but are easily motivated...
Dad, if I find him will you give me five dollars? Yes. Cool!

Five bucks? I would buy lollies!
I realised I would need to go into the field myself
Looking in the Corporate Boxes in the Graeme Lowe stand
It wasn't easy to keep my troops motivated. They wanted to fool around

And it began to get dark. This is proving to be harder than I thought...

Aha - he's been spotted in seat 235 - the chase begins. I have him in my sights...
Hold on - it seems there is a campaign to distract me - or is it the field agents trying to get paid? Counter intelligence is a constant threat in the espionage world...
Aha - not so hard to see in that Hi-Viz is he...
Another red herring I fear
They seek him here, they seek him there...
I'm David
I knew it, he WAS out on the feild - this isn't going to be easy, not with the security guards in on it. Anyone could be hiding him -
Every hunt for fugitives and spies ends up running through a crowded market scene with foodstalls and chickens in crates, and a chef with a big knife - let's see if he's running through the pizza stall...
Sure enough, the old 'run through the kitchen' scene...
Uh oh, he's got friends in high places
We can't touch him in there...
Now it's into the crowd - hiding in plain sight

I wonder if I can get an autograph from Ross Taylor?
The chase is hard, it's wearing us down - but David is alone, on the run, a hunted man. He's exhausted...and rehydrates in the ambulance while hiding under some blankets
So I get the Blackcaps involved - hey Bracewell, have you seen David? 'Nah, how about you Kyle?' 'He went over by the scoreboard' -thanks guys
Yep - over by the scoreboard there are twenty policemen looking for him now - but he was disguised and got away...

searchlights are on

I saw him, he's over there by my Dad
I'm getting Sikh of these puns
And suddenly, the chase is over. Trapped. and run to ground in a pile of empty beer bottles. It's a shame...
Well played, David.....
